Ambassador Robin Dunnigan will be departing soon to Georgia to replace Ambassador Kelly Degnan.
Amb. Dunnigan was confirmed by the US Senate on July 27, 2023. In her testimony earlier this year, she identified four key priorities:
- to ensure safety of Embassy staff and all Americans in Georgia;
- to work with the Georgian government and Georgian people to help on the path of European integration;
- strengthen bilateral trade and investment; and
- advocate for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Georgian Association in the USA looks forward to continued support of the United States and wishes Ambassador Dunnigan a successful term.
