Georgian Association hosted the 3rd annual community meetup – Brewing Connections, Discovering the Power of Georgian Network in Falls Church, Virginia on March 9, 2025 at 12:00.
The goal of the first meetup was for women to re-establish in-person connections post-COVID and mark Mother’s Day and Women’s History Month. Since then, it has evolved into an annual tradition with a raffle, family introductions, and an opportunity for Georgians and friends of Georgia around DC, Maryland, and Virginia to come together. Last year, a Baltimore-based photographer offered complimentary portraits for attendees, several Georgian books, and tickets to the Synetic Theater performances were raffled.
This year’s event had number of sponsors including generous community members and Georgian-owned businesses – Georgian Feast, Synetic Theater, Spices by Mancho, Anate Candles, Katerina Kato Photography, Tami Moss, and Zaqaria Chelidze.
