Georgian Association is run by a volunteer board of directors who are passionate about the mission of the organization. Over the years, the Association has funded various academic, educational, and cultural activities through generous donations from Georgian-American community members past and present.
Your tax deductible contributions enable us to pursue various activities in support of the mission – to bring the two countries closer together, maintain Georgian culture and heritage, and representing the Georgian interests in the United States. When donating, you can choose to designate a specific area of work you care most about.
Our activities span from community gatherings, online and in-person activities to raise awareness about Georgian culture and heritage, art, and society, rich history, and current issues – to cultural activities, professional development efforts to support Georgian-American professionals in advancing their careers, and advocacy in support of a strong, prosperous, and democratic Georgia.
The Association is a proud supporter of the Academy of Georgian Heritage in Bethesda, MD. The academy educates Georgian-American children in Georgian language, history, literature, art, panduri, dance, and physical theater.
Georgian Association also supports the Colorado Georgian Association – Ertoba in support of the newest Georgian language school in Denver, CO.
The Association also has supported the School of Georgian Heritage of the Georgian Heritage Foundation in Santa Clara, CA. The goal of the organization, founded in August 2020 is to promote, preserve, and popularize Georgian Heritage among the Bay Area’s Georgian community and friends of Georgia.
The Association will consider additional opportunities to provide support educational programs for Georgians in the US.
