Georgian Association has joined together with Georgian diaspora in the United States to advocate in light of violations and challenges experienced by Georgian voters in the United States and in solidarity with hundreds of thousands of Georgians who experienced elections that were not free from intimidation and harassment, and experienced a number of electoral violations.
Georgian Association president, Salome Tsereteli-Stephens joined the Harvard Program on Georgian Studies panel discussing Georgian elections to provide diaspora perspectives in the aftermath.
Past President Veronika Metonidze and Salome Tsereteli-Stephens also joined a Twitter Chat with Ukrainian Defense Group to discuss what Georgia’s election outcomes meant for the country’s choices of Euro-Atlantic Integration.
Advocacy with CEEC and Congress continued on the legislative bills that started after the introduction of the “Transparency Law”.
